The Manchester Volunteer Fire Company #1 station is on Commonwealth Boulevard, which cuts through a residential neighborhood known as Pine Lake Park. This Smokey sits to the side of the station, on a garden plot maintained by a local Girl Scout troop. A frog statue also sits here with Smokey.
It's good to know Smokey has company.
