Long Description:
Shaped like a giant three pointed fork or a candelabrum, this tree clearly shows the path to take between two of the biggest rivers here, the Cuyahoga and the Tuscawaras.

This great tree is more than 100 feet high and has an average spread of 75 feet. Most experts believe the oak was manipulated into this shape when it was small, by Indians who were known to do this to mark their canoe trails.

The tree can be found at Summit County Metro Parks, Cascade Valley park. Use the Chuckery Race entrance.

The tree is fenced off, please no climbing on this old sentinel. Three benches available to relax and just sit. Try to imagine all the history that passed by here. Amazing place to reflect.
