The Pierce County Fair is held annually at what is now Frontier Park. In Years past, it was known only as the Pierce County Fairgrounds. The County Fair takes place every year before the Washington State fair held at the Puyallup Fair grounds (which is the largest fair in the state of Washington (WM1JP0). This fair is normally used by local people to prepare for the Puyallup Fair.
All through-out the year, the fair is open to the public. It is used by runners, Geocachers (GC1KRMZ), church groups, families for reunions, horse-riding clubs and individuals, and many other people and groups.
