Long Description:
Founded in 1929 on land donated by Roscoe F. Proctor. It is over
two acres, but is now filled and no new plots are being sold. The
first animal interred was Creampot, the feline friend of Miss
Jennie Kendall, the founder of the Nashua Humane Society. The cat
perished in the major fire in Nashua, the 1930 Crown Hill fire.
