This is definitely NOT a Muffler Man. This one is ALL woman, but not a Uniroyal Gal either. This waitress stands atop the Colonial Family Restaurant sign in west Flint.

Earl Daup Sign Ltd. put up the waitress statue or the "Big Girl," in 1978. She has been a landmark on Corunna Road ever since. Yanni the owner said; "You know you're on Corunna Rd. when you see the Big Girl," my father always says.
