Although winter Wilderness Permits are by Self Registration, it's a good idea to stop in and get weather reports and trail conditions.

Along with the usual Ranger Station stuff, the Rangers also lead snowshoe trips in the area.

If you're headed up to the Ostrander Lake Backcountry Hut, this is the place to check in.
