Big John the Grocery Man located at a fireworks stand just south of the Mississippi-Tennessee border on US Hwy 61 and was featured in the Zippy strips on 7/1/05, 7/4/05 and 7/5/05.

The strips features Big John a "Muffler Man" located just south of the Tennessee-Mississippi border along US. Hwy 61.  At the time of the strip in 2005 the was laying down  (RoadsideAmerica.com) which is how he is depicted in the strip.   Big John is now standing in front of a fireworks stand.
