This vertical control mark is located along the Cascade Lakes Highway, about 7 miles southwest of Bend. The cap is set in a round concrete post, about 90 feet north of the highway centerline. The cap was set by the National Geodetic Survey in 1981 and was marked U369 RESET.

DESCRIBED BY NATIONAL GEODETIC SURVEY 1981 FROM THE INTERSECTION OF U.S. 97 AND U.S. 20, GO SOUTH ON U.S. 97 FOR 0.3 MILE, TURN RIGHT NORTHEAST FRANKLIN AND GO TOWARD MT BACHELOR 1.6 MILES TO A MAJOR INTERSECTION, TURN LEFT ON NW 14TH, AGAIN TOWARD MT BACHELOR FOR 3.45 MILES TO DESCHUTES NATIONAL FOREST SIGN ON RIGHT, CONTINUE SOUTHERLY 2.3 MILES TO THE MARK ON THE RIGHT, 24 METERS NORTH OF PROPOSED CENTERLINE OF REALIGNED HIGHWAY.
