This benchmark is located along the Cascade Lakes Highway, about 11 miles southwest of Bend. The cap is set in rock outcrop, about 75 feet south of the highway centerline. The cap was set by the U.S. Coast & Geodetic Survey in 1942 and was marked Q369.

DESCRIBED BY NATIONAL GEODETIC SURVEY 1963. 10.9 MILES SOUTHWEST ALONG CENTURY DRIVE FROM THE POST OFFICE AT BEND, 0.7 MILE EAST OF A FORK WHERE CENTURY DRIVE BENDS SHARPLY TO THE NORTHWEST, 76 FEET SOUTH OF THE CENTER OF CENTURY DRIVE, WHICH IS ABOUT HALF-WAY BETWEEN THE HIGHWAY AND A BLUFF OVERLOOKING THE VALLEY TO THE SOUTH AND 2 FEET SOUTH OF A METAL WITNESS POST IN A 3 BY 4 FOOT ROCK OUTCROP THAT PROJECTS 5 INCHES.
