PB0247 - USCGS P369 RESET, Oregon - U.S. Benchmarks on Waymarking.com

This benchmark is located along the Cascade Lakes Highway, about 12 miles southwest of Bend. The cap is set in prominent rock outcrop, about 60 feet northeast of the highway centerline. The cap was set by the U.S. Coast & Geodetic Survey in 1963 and was marked P369 RESET.

DESCRIBED BY COAST AND GEODETIC SURVEY 1963. 11.7 MILES SOUTHWEST ALONG CENTURY DRIVE FROM THE POST OFFICE AT BEND, DESCHUTES COUNTY, 0.2 MILE EAST OF WOOD ROAD 2 AT THE SOUTHEAST EDGE OF A PROMINENT ROCK OUTCROP, 60 FEET NORTHEAST OF THE CENTER OF CENTURY DRIVE, 3 FEET NORTHWEST OF A METAL WITNESS POST, 1 1/2 FEET SOUTHEAST OF A HUGE BOULDER, CEMENTED IN A DRILL HOLE IN THE TOP OF A 3 BY 3-FOOT BOULDER THAT PROJECTS 1 FOOT.
