PB0468 - USCGS N369 RESET, Oregon - U.S. Benchmarks on Waymarking.com

This benchmark is located along the Cascade Lakes Highway, about 13 miles southwest of Bend. The cap is set in square concrete post, about 75 feet north of the highway centerline. The cap was set by the U.S. Coast & Geodetic Survey in 1963 and was marked N369 RESET.

DESCRIBED BY COAST AND GEODETIC SURVEY 1963. 12.7 MILES SOUTHWEST ALONG CENTURY DRIVE FROM THE BEND POST OFFICE, 76 FEET NORTH OF THE CENTER OF THE HIGHWAY, 33 FEET EAST OF WOOD ROAD 4, 0.5 FOOT WEST OF A METAL WITNESS POST, 2 FEET BELOW THE LEVEL OF THE HIGHWAY, AND SET IN THE TOP OF A 12-INCH SQUARE CONCRETE MONUMENT THAT PROJECTS 4 INCHES.
