PB0466 - USCGS M369 RESET, Oregon - U.S. Benchmarks on Waymarking.com

This benchmark is located along the Cascade Lakes Highway, about 13.5 miles southwest of Bend. The cap is set in square concrete post, about 70 feet north of the highway centerline. The cap was set by the U.S. Coast & Geodetic Survey in 1963 and was marked M369 RESET. The Cascade Lakes Highway was rebuilt and widened in 1965.

DESCRIBED BY COAST AND GEODETIC SURVEY 1963. 13.5 MILES SOUTHWEST ALONG CENTURY DRIVE FROM THE POST OFFICE AT BEND, DESCHUTES COUNTY, 0.15 MILE WEST OF WOOD ROAD 6, 71 FEET NORTH OF THE CENTER OF CENTURY DRIVE, 1 FOOT EAST OF A METAL WITNESS POST, AND SET IN THE TOP OF A 12-INCH SQUARE CONCRETE MONUMENT THAT PROJECTS 3 INCHES.
