There are more activities going on here than I could write about in this space. Check out the website for more information. Rick Warren came to Orange County and started a bible study for the unchurched in the early seventies. I have watched this church grow through the years into the megachurch it is today. Rick's fame came from his book, "The Purpose-Driven Church". The news media needed a spokesperson for the Christian right and Rick stepped into those shoes. This has lead him right to the steps of the White House with the swearing in of our newest president.
