This is a new restaurant, but it's in one of Alameda's landmark buildings, once a fine hotel. There is a huge stained-glass ceiling inside, which the owner says was once actually glass, but since replaced with plexiglass due to the hazard of glass overhead. However, the windows are the original glass. So is the unique cut glass "awning" on the front.
