Roland W. Burris has prepared a burial site for himself at Oak Woods Cemetery in Chicago. Rod Blagojevich named Burris to fill the Senate seat of President-elect Barack Obama. Carved in stone under the words "TRAIL BLAZER" is a long list of accomplishments. This tombstone has been in both the Tribune and Sun Times, and even mentioned on the Daily Show. It is located right next to Olympian Jesse Owens.
