The text on top reads "The strength of the Indiana State Police Department lies in the character of its people."
Front text: "As we that are left behind grow old, they shall not grow old, age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn, at the going down of the sun, and in the morning. We will remember them.
The back contains 45 names (so far).
I also see that the slab is shiny enough to pick up my reflection. I try to remember that and take at an angle, but missed it here.
11/13/2010 update (thanks to DieselDoc): The police post was consolidated with that at Putmanville. The memorial has been moved, maybe there, so need to check. Marked title as [Legacy].
