On the occasion of the 25th Anniversary of Diplomatic Relations between Singapore and the Vatican, a pair of stamps were released that included the Merlion, symbol of the city of Singapore.

To commemorate the 25th Anniversary of the establishment of Diplomatic Relations between Singapore and the Vatican, a pair of stamps were released. The 50 cent stamp included the image of the Merlion, a prominent symbol of the city of Singapore. Also on the stamp is an image from the Vatican.
The second stamp in the set is SGD $2 and contains an image of the flags of Singapore and the Holy See.
