This area of rural Gilroy is being cut up into "ranchettes" for city people. The new owners of this parcel probably love riding their horses, and may even take lessons in cowboy roping, but they probably don't know the first thing about water pumps or windmills. This one is clearly in great shape, but it's not working because no one wants it to be.
