Artist Statement:
I have found I am drawn to making sculptures using objects from nature. I take pleasure in balance and repetition of shape. Taking a flat piece of steel cutting and bending it into a sculpture is like freezing a moment in time so it can be revisited and savored over and over again. I particularly enjoy the permanency and strength of steel and am happiest when my sculpture brings a smile to those viewing it.
