A one-room schoolhouse was donated by the Box family of Grand Rapids, Ohio, and moved to the Wolcott House Museum Complex on Sunday, August 6, 2007. Over the past decade, one dream of the Maumee Valley Historical Society was to have a schoolhouse to help complete the educational mission we are pursuing. Visitors to the complex will be able to see what it is like to spend a day in school during the 1850s.
