T.V.A. Survey Marker dated 1939 set in concrete in Fort Blackmore, Va.
On the Gate City side of SR 72 before crossing the Clinch river at the site of the old Fort Blackmore bridge. Fifteen feet paralell with present guardrail faceing the new bridge. 245 degree true north.
