Rutter Force is the waterfall upstream of the road crossing. There is a footbridge for pedestrians. Beside the falls is a mill with a wheel.

The road crosses on a concrete slab with tarmac either side. Judging by the flood debris only attempt it when you can see the surface you are driving on.
