This benchmark was placed within the last month at the entrance sign to the Jane's Island State Park, Alfred Lawson Drive/Jacksonville Rd., Crisfield, Somerset County MD 21817.
Crisfield is located on Maryland's Eastern Shore, at the end of MD 413, which runs south from US 13. It is adjacent to the Tangier Sound - an arm of the Chesapeake Bay.
