Sterling Edmunds House at 28 Westmoreland Place was built in 1940. The Georgian Revival styled house was designed by architect Raymond Maritz. Sterling Edmunds was a lawyer and newspaper man in St. Louis. Late in his career he was professor of international law at St. Louis University.
