Long Description:
Bancroft Park is part of the property that used to house Bancroft School (which no longer exists). The school, and thus park, was named after Hubert Howe Bancroft, an American historian and ethnologist. More can be learned about Hubert Howe Bancroft at his wikipedia article: (visit link)

The park is located in Historic Old Colorado City, along Colorado Avenue and 24th Street. The park encompasses 1.2 acres.

There is no playground available, but there are a few walking paths, picnic tables, and restrooms.
