The church contains a unique clock and chiming mechanism which plays a tune every three hours, we happened to enter as it started up, which was nice.
The apparatus which makes up this musical instrument was refurbished and re-sited, completely restored in 2005, so sounds really clearly. The clock dates from 1683 and was made by Thomas Power of Wellingborough. There are five tunes altogether which play for five minutes at a time. The tune is changed every week.
