Symonds Yat Rock is one of three viewpoints which looks from the cliffs down to a large meander in the River Wye far below. The views are incredible and are a popular tourist attraction.
RSPB members are often present in a vigil to watch the local Peregrine Falcons. They are usually happy to share their powerful binoculars with the interested public.
There is a topograph situated on the main platform and benches are available nearby, but not in the viewing area itself.
Caution should be used (especially with pets) as a low stone wall is all that stands between you and a 400' drop.
There is a parking fee.
