This suspension footbridge will take you from England (north) to Wales (south) in some of the most scenic country you will find. The bridge was built in 1957 and refurbished in 1997 when the towers were replaced and the steps were replaced by ramps.
The bridge is far away from any roads, but the south end is where the Wye Valley Railway once ran. This was well known for being the most beautiful stretch of railway in the UK.
There is a sign warning that no more than 6 people should cross at a time.
