This is one of the more popular places to view the Seattle Skyline, probably the most popular after Kerry Park. It is extremely peaceful to sit near the shore and gaze across the water to the lights of the Space needle, downtown, and residential areas. It's quiet here, but you can hear the distant hum of the city.
Although this is a popular night viewing area, it is more remote and tends to attract transients as well. It might be best to visit the park with a group of people.
