The Witherspoon Covered Bridge to date is the only remaining covered bridge in Franklin County still in used by vehicular traffic.
Witherspoon Covered Bridge was built in 1883 by S. Stouffer, of Burr Truss construction, 86 feet in length by 13 feet in width.
The bridge is owned by Franklin County and in good condition.
