Long Description:
This small marker has been placed by the Heartland of America Chapter No. 39 Fourth Marine Division Association WWII. This marker shows the insigna of the fourth as well as the Anchor, Globe; and Eagle of the Marines. A picture of the flag raising on Iwo Jima is also present.

The Pacific Campaigns honored are:
Roi-Namur Jan 1944
Saipan June 1944
Tinian July 1944
Iwo Jima Feb 1945

The inscription reads:
Dedicated to the Memory of Those who Served with the Fourth Division
