The Cambridge City Hall Cupola is a small ornate copper post on top of a pyramid roof over a stone bell and clock tower. The belfry has two arched openings on each side. There is also a clock face on each side.

The building is composed of light brown granite, with darker stone around windows and forming the arches and ledges.

Cambridge City Hall is in Central Square in a block bounded by Massachusetts Avenue, Inman Street, Bigelow Street, Dorothy Dottie Doyle Way.
