The Central Square Branch of the Cambridge Public Library system, a couple blocks from Massachusetts Avenue, serves a diverse neighborhood and has the Rotary Technology Learning Center that includes computers with internet access.

The Central Square Branch of the Cambridge Public Library System is located in a block with a tall public housing building and a parking garage. As the web site states, it has been in the Central Square neighborhood for over 32 years and is the largest branch library in the system.

The library offers several programs, including reading sessions, English classes and tutoring, and book discussion groups. It also offers materials in special collections for spanish, bengali, and african-americans.

The main entrance is from Franklin Street, through Martin Luther King Plaza. Parking is at the garage, which has an entrance on Green Street.

There is Internet access; however, it is open to people who have the Minuteman Library Card, which is a network with many cities and towns in eastern Massachusetts. It is generally open Mon. - Thurs. 1:30 pm - 5:30 pm.
