The Rochester, Syracuse and Eastern railroad was a double track electric interurban trolley, finest in New York State. It operated from 1906 to 1931 with 99 stops between Rochester and Syracuse. This passenger/freight station opened in 1911 at a cost of $6,000. It was one of 8 such structures and has had many uses over the years. It is now privately owned.
Almost all the former track bed in Perinton has become a hiking and biking path maintained by the Town of Perinton.
