The Brown County Courthouse was built in 1925, replacing an earlier courthouse on the same site. The building was designed by architect W.E. Hulse and Company. and constructed Harvey E. Wood, general contractor. The building continues to serve Brown County as the courthouse. The building was dedicated November 11, 1926.
