The BRYAN STATUE, in the Five Points traffic circle at 20th St. and 11th Ave. S. is a marble statue of the Reverend "Brother" J. A. Bryan by George Bridges, Birmingham scultor. The faith, spiritual life, and religious work of this widely known pastor are symbolized in the kneeling figure with head uplifted.
TODAY, after several moves to areas around the city, the preserved statue has returned to its original location which has developed into the social center of Birmingham.
