Cast by Jules Berchem, who became regarded as a master artisan in art bronze, of the American Art Bronze Company, Chicago. Placed near Washington Blvd. & N. Central Park Ave. in Garfield Park on the west side of Chicago.
Update: I just discovered that this was sculpted by Charles J. Mulligan, is also known as "Lincoln, the Woodchopper" and was dedicated in 1911.
