Even though it's tiny, this twin cave gets a lot of visitors because it is so close to the road (although this road is in the middle of nowhere compared to the populous valley below). The two openings don't connect; each of them goes back just far enough for a party of teenagers to huddle in to drink. The one on the left has a lot of ash from campfires just inside the entrance.
It looks like the rock is volcanic in origin, so it might be that this was a bubble in the lava which formed a cave opening when the outer surface was broken.
It's on private land according to the map, but it's not fenced and there are no signs posted against trespassing.
