Bicentennial Flag for the City of Herculaneum, Missouri. The flag was dedicated to past and present citizens of Herculaneum on January 1, 2008. The flag will be retired on December 31, 2008, and replaced with the official city flag that was dedicated on November 3, 2007. The flag is part of a Bicentennial flag pole area that includes a United States Flag dedicated to all past and present Herculaneum military veterans and a Missouri State flag that was dedicated in honor of the 5th Governor of Missouri Daniel Dunklin who lived in Herculaneum and is buried there, and the 18th Governor of Missouri Thomas C. Fletcher who was born in Herculaneum.
