The storefront is open Tuesday through Saturday 12-5. They always have cats (who live at the store until adopted) and dogs (who live in foster homes and visit the store during the day until adopted). They do same-day adoptions of cats, but dogs require a home visit by one of the volunteers first, and may take a week to become final. Adopting an animal costs money which covers microchipping, neutering, their shots, etc.

"Animal Friends Rescue Project rescues animals in the most dire need, we concentrate on taking animals from local animal shelters that are at risk of being euthanized. We generally do not take animals from the public but do make exceptions through our Compassionate Surrender Program."
