A monument dedicated to the Search and rescue dog (Sirius) that died while saving survivors of the 9/11 Tragedy.

This memorial was erected to recognize and honour the many men and women who, together with their canine partners worked diligently during the search and recovery operations after the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks in New York and Washington. The two tall stones are representative of the crumbling twin towers of the world trade centre in New York. The base of the memorial represents the pentagon building in Washington.

Unveiled in May 2002 by officers of the New York - New Jersey Port Wuthority Police Department, the memorial is dedicated to Sirius, Canine Partner of Officer David Lim. Sirius, A Yellow Lab, lost his life in the World Trade Center Tradjedy.

Monument was designed by Gunter Neumann, of Meaford Ontario
