Since you have a condition option of "monumentation found, but no marker", I am going to waymark this one. The actual survey disk was located in top of the reservior dam at Bays Mountain Park. It is the first stage of multicache GCMD8V "Dolan Gap". I can place the disappearance of the actual disk to within 60 hours - between when I showed it to a family during GeoFest geocaching event on a Tuesday afternoon and noticed it was gone during a Moonlight hike Thursday night for FunFest. FunFest is a weeklong town festival with many activities. I was later talking with one of the park naturalists and he confirmed that their greatest amount of damage is done during FunFest due to the shear volume of people in the park. Have already notified the city engineering department about the disappearance, but nothing may be done as the monumentation site is clearly evident in the concrete.
