This sculpture/sundial is a 1928 work by artist Frank Jirouch (1878-1970). It is one of a group of scupltures commissioned by the city of Cleveland to surround the area of the Cleveland Museum of Art after it opened. It graces the southern end of the scenic Wade Lagoon while the original building of the Cleveland Museum of Art looks out from the northern end of the lagoon.
