The UOB Plaza One is one of two towers in the UOB Plaza. It's 280 meter height makes it the tallest buiding in Singapore. A feat that it shares with two other buildings. No other buildings will surpass this height as there is a 280 meter limit on buildings in Singapore imposed by the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore.
The shape of the UOB Plaza One is that of multiple blocks fused together. As the building rises, it tapers and the fused block shape changes.
At the bottom of the building, it is shaped like a square with a plus super imposed looking like a four sided building with a column running up the center of each of the sides. Further up, the shape changes to two square super-imposed with a 45 degree rotation giving it a 8 pointed star shape.
