Olympic Plaza was built in 1988 for the Olympic Winter Games. The plaza hosts many special events & festivals throughout the year. With an artificial ice surface for winter skating, it is also a wonderful place to sit and enjoy your lunch during the noon hour.

A section of the bricks include members of the International Olympic Committee in 1988 and Calgary City Council.
