The merry-go-round is open on weekends from 11am to 5pm weather permitting. Admission is 2$ per ride, and parking is free and ample. Multiple ticket packets are available at a discount, and well worth it as you can't just ride on it once. The facility has a reasonable snack bar with sandwiches, drinks, and coffee and tea for adults. It also has a smattering of toys with which to bribe the tots as if a ride on the grand carousel weren't enough. A south-facing lawn and benches in a rustic wooded setting provide a nice place for a picnic. As an added attraction, staff dress-up the carousel with holiday themes.
