The Memiors of Lenawee County by Bonner in 1909 has a brief mention of St. Dominic's:
"Rev. Fisher is in charge of the parishes of St. Dominic's of Clinton and St. Josephs of Cambridge. All of these congregations are the largest in their community and occupy large and imposing houses of worship".
