East Cleveland Cemetery - Cleveland, Ohio.
In 1849, the trustees of the township of East Cleveland purchased the land for use as a community cemetery. The first interment was in 1851.
There are about 1,100 burials in this 12 acre cemetery.
Banks Custer (1882-1935) second cousin to General George Custer and Phillip Cody, grandfather of Buffalo Bill Cody are buried here.
Maintenance of the cemetery is provided by a dedicated group of volunteers.
