I knew Ray Hunt as one of the important senior members of the Tennessee Eastman Hiking Club which maintains 131 miles of the Applachian Trail (AT) in TN/VA. Ray also was a leader in the AT Guidebook Preparation Workshop and served as club chair. Ray also has a walkway over the Nolichucky River in Erwin, TN dedicated to him for his long time leadership and trail maintenance.

This memorial is for his service to Bays Mountain Park which is a city park and wildlife refuge. (And absolutely beautiful on this fall day.) Have a seat and enjoy what Ray would have loved to seen with you.
