Official description: DESCRIBED BY COAST AND GEODETIC SURVEY 1935 5.7 MI NE FROM GREENEVILLE. 5.7 MILES NORTHEAST ALONG STATE HIGHWAY 93 FROM THE SOUTHERN RAILWAY STATION AT GREENEVILLE, GREENE COUNTY, AT THE R.T. DUNN RESIDENCE, 30 FEET FROM THE CENTERLINE OF THE HIGHWAY, 117 FEET SOUTHEAST OF A 30-INCH OAK TREE, 104 FEET SOUTHEAST OF THE SOUTHWEST CORNER OF THE HOUSE, 2 FEET EAST OF A POST, AND LEVEL WITH THE HIGHWAY. A STANDARD DISK, STAMPED C 105 1935 AND SET IN THE TOP OF A CONCRETE POST.
Did not have the description with me to verify it. Benchmark is between highway and row of house on side lane in nicely mowed grass area.
